Mrs Femrite, Aged Holmes City Lady, is Buried Friday
Guro Femrite, pioneer resident of Holmes City township, passed away Tuesday morning, Dec 30, at the age of 89 years.
Mrs Femrite was born Nov 1, 1858, in Norway Telemark) and came to this country with her parents, Halvor and Tone Jorgenson, at the age of two years.
She was united in marriage to Severt Femrite, and to this union six children were born. Henry Femrite of Lowry, Tillie Myhr of Alexandria, Annie Mauseth of Farwell, and Jennie Femrite at home.
Her husband Severt, and two sons, Grant and Sander, preceeded her in death.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs August Anderson, of Lowry, twenty-one grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Mrs Guro Femrite was a member of the Trysil Lutheran church all her life. Funeral services were held at the Trysil church Friday afternoon.
