Rites Here Sept 17 For Jennie Femrite, 78
Funeral services for Jennie O Femrite, 78, lifetime Pope county
resident, were held at 1:30 pm Saturday, Sept 17, at the Hoplin Funeral
Home with the Rev. Duane Berg officiating.
Miss Femrite died at the Glenwood Retirement Home on Tuesday, Sept 13,
after a short illness.
Interment was in Trysil cemetery with Kenneth Lundblad, Rodney
Femrite, Lyle Femrite, Dennis Johnson, Luther Myhr and Vernal Nelson as
pallbearers.
Mrs Stanley Femrite sang “Children of the Heavenly Father” and “Jesus
Priceless Treasure” during the services.
Jennie O Femrite was born March 26, 1888 in Pope county, Minn to Mr
and Mrs S O Femrite. She attended school in Pope county Ben Wade
township.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs Annie Mauseth, Crowley, Texas; and
many nieces and nephews.
