Isak Isaksen
Isak Isaksen was born in Norway on Dec 18, 1818 and was christened Jan
2, 1819. On March 7, 1854, he was married to Guro Thronsdatter. She
was born May 23, 1829 at Østre Slidre, Norway and immigrated in 1851.
Guro died July 2, 1877 and is buried at Valders, WI.
Mr Isakson was a farmer in Liberty, Wisconsin and came to Holmes City,
MN sometime between 1877 and 1880, after his wife died. He was a
brother of Lars Isaksen of Holmes City, MN.
Isak Isaksen died on Sept 3, 1881 at the age of 66 years. He is buried
in the Trysil Cemetery at Douglas County, MN.
