GJERMUND LORDALEN
Gjermund Lordalen was born in Trysil Osterdalen, Norway, May 5, 1852 and passed away April 3, 1935 and was at the time of his death 82 years, 10 months and 27 days.
Mr Lordalen was united in marriage to Miss Ingri Christofferson March 22, 1874. He came to America with his wife and two children June 1, 1881. In 1882 they settled down on a farm in Douglas county, Minn, where he lived until his death. His wife and two children, little Olea and Mrs O Karle of Denver, Colo, preceded him in death.
He is survived by three daughters, Christine, Ingri and Mrs Amos Pearson, two sons Carl and Gustav, two grandchildren Carlos, and Miss Cleora Karle of Denver, Colo, and one brother, PO Lordalen of Norway who mourn his death.
The funeral took place Monday, April 8 at one o’clock at the Trysil church, Rev R Larson officiating. Miss Precilla Myhr sang two beautiful solos, accompanied by Mrs J M Helm. The following acted as pallbearers, E Steen, L Guldbranson, H Myhr, J Johnson, M Sogaarden and P Sogaarden.
